DECK HINTS AND TIPS

RAGING REPEATED BLOOM

Rillaboom’s Raging Repeated Strike delivers a roundhouse to your opponent’s Active Pokémon with 120 damage plus 30 damage for each Energy you discard from your Pokémon. When it’s time to recharge Rillaboom for repeated strikes, request help from Cherrim and its Spring Bloom Ability. And with Zarude’s Pack Call attack for , you can rapidly rally a whole band of  Pokémon to your Bench to make sure the beat never stops!

QUICK BURST

Inteleon’s Quick Shooting Ability lets you put 2 damage counters on an opposing Pokémon, which adds up fast if you have multiple Inteleon in play! Then, use Gengar’s Pain Burst attack to do 10 damage plus an additional 40 for each damage counter on the opposing Pokémon. Keep an eye out for situations where Gengar’s and Drizzile’s Abilities can help you find important cards for your strategy! (And note that even though Inteleon is a Rapid Strike Pokémon, it can evolve from any Drizzile.)

ROARING ALLIES

Single Strike Pokémon excel at delivering powerful attacks in one blow, and Single Strike Urshifu is no exception! If it’s already been damaged, it can do a crushing 200 damage with Fists of Strife. Pair this with Houndoom’s Single Strike Roar Ability to quickly find and attach Single Strike Energy cards. You have to put 2 damage counters on the Pokémon receiving the Energy, but that downside is an upside with Urshifu!
